Your composition works well, it leads the viewer through the image. However I feel there are a few improvements you could make to the final print. First, print the image a little lighter. This will liven up the image a bit; also darken the edges of the print, this will draw the viewers eye into the subject. Have you thought of a longer shutter speed? This will soften the water giving it a more wispy look which I feel would fit this subject better. Often a softer flow of water is more pleasing and better suited to most images. I find that shorter shutter speeds, stopping the action of water, is more successful when youre dealing with a strong flow of water breaking against rocks thus showing the power of nature. Overall, nice image.

You have an image that nicely shows nature as it is. I love the brooding color. Reminds of streams I've slogged through in Newfoundland. I guess I don't like the heavy black border, mayber thin that out a bit or eliminate it and use a drop shadow to make the image pop from the screen. I know a lot of photographers have a propensity to use a slower shutter speed to make what I call fuzzy water (really overdone on PN), your water looks natural and very pretty. You have a very nice shot here. Great job.
