Humpback whale's airborne.

A young Humpback whale see's the water turn to blue sky as it takes to the air in Hervey Bay, Australia. Nikon F-5, 400mm 2.8 manual focus hand held. 1/4000 of a second with Provia 100F. This was tougher shooting than one would imagine. The boat motor would cause too much vibration not to mention the off kilter horizon when using a mono-pod. I held that puppy for up to 3 hours in a sinlge stretch........Oooof!
