Sunset at Sunset Cliffs, San Diego, CA

I like this a lot simply because I was there and caught the moment,

especially, the two couples on each end of the cliff. However, I

often wonder what's wrong with it and what could have been better. In

the end, not bad for a digital camera.

Here are my thoughts about this picture:

1- there is no clear horizon line the color of the sky and the sea is almost the same, but you can't do anything about that, when you don't have interesting colors in the sky you might crop it and focus on the main subject, tell me what you think of my cropping.

2- the horizon line is a little bit off.

3- the left side of the picture is brighter than the right side "I don't know if this is a bad thing or not, is there any rule about this in outdoor photography".

4- since the first couples are your main subjects I don't see the need for the second couple "the right side, to dark and to small" So, I would crop that, I'll post the cropped one in the next comment.

5- could you try a smaller file size just for us with small monitors ;-).

I like the picture and the atmosphere that you tried to capture, but you were let down by the light, I hope that you can get it again in a better conditions.
