This image was composited to show the detail in the moon while still

maintaining the star trail aspect of the shot. I want to know if

anyone has any problems with the shot. thank you

Interesting combination of moving stars and "static" moon. Have no problem with the concept. I like the colors of the stars as opposed by the gray moon. Best regards. Peter

Nice way to capture time in 2D, I'm a novice - how did you capture the stars through time yet the moon seems static?

Shimon, all I did was take two seperate exposures; one for the moon (around basic daylight exposure), and one for the stars (around 5 minutes with a 70mm lens). The final step is to merge the two images in PS using layers with some pretty simple circular layers masks. Hope that helps. Have Fun.
