Great long-exposure. Colors look so surreal and eerie. Well done.

Saturation a bit too over the top for my taste.

I really like the composition and idea. But I think you overexposed the image. With a full moon, it is possible to overexpose and you really lose the sence of a night scene. Judging by the curved horizon, I'm guessing this was taken with an 18-20mm lens? If so, judging by the length of the startrails, I'm guessing your exposure was about 2 minutes? I think if you exposed for about 30 seconds, you would have nailed it, and the stars would have remained "points" rather than trails. Give it another shot. Like I say, it's a fine composition and idea.

Thanks, gentlemen. With this image, I employed a couple of different techniques and appreciate the honest feedback. Let me see what I can do with this one. PS, the bay itself curves around.

Impressive image, wonderful colours, original idea. You have used the stairs in another image (Stairway to the Western Heavens) that I enjoyed much as well. If you ever display/frame this it would be interesting to see how they would look together as a diptik side by side. Regards, Yianni
