Great shot Alec! Very engaging moment of the boys, and the cat and sitting child in the background increase the depth of the photo too.

Thank you very much guys for your kind comments. Didn't know a rustic image of simple living can get so much feedback. It opened up my eyes everytime I visit places like these. To know how lucky we are living in an IT world where our friends are just at a click away whereas there are others who live secluded not knowing what's happening but still contented with life.

Wow, love it, Alec! So many things going on, yet this doesn't come across as too busy. You just want to keep looking and picking out different elements. The kids' expressions are great! This has a lot of appeal on many levels.

Fantastic environmental portrait. Some may find this busy but I find the wealth of details fascinating. The cat is a nice touch.

The children in the FG.( and the cat) are a very good enterance to the life in that place, the authentic surrounding is very well caught Alec.

Amazing photo...even a kitten... It's never a surprise that children are happy as they have no idea that they are impoverished.

Agree with everyone. This shot really demands that you look around the frame from the two boys to the boy sitting in the background to the clothes on the line and the cat and then back to the two boys. Excellent.
