Night Watch

Who said film is dead? I re-scanned some negatives and slides with my new scanner and

found my new images to be even more resolute. I found this one I had trouble scanning

before for some odd reason. I think it came out great! Do let me know what y'all think.

I personally have a great fascination with night photography and the use of street lights/lamps in contrast to figures or objects. I love the line of lights you captured in the the left side of the photo. The angle works well because although you focus on the man and the lamp in the middle, the depth of the photo goes back into the left, almost seeming as you were just walking by the scene and happened to have looked to your left. Overall, I like it. The tones are good and it works so well in b&w.
