Taken on a fantastic morning, calm and cold. By 8am the wind had got

up and the tranquility was lost!

Great photo. It would be intresting to see with a ultra wide angle lens, would give it a bit more character. I love all aspects of this photo. great job, where whas it taken?

Bet you had to get up early. I don't think I have anything constructive to add other than that I notice all the images in this folder have a certain softness, even when viewed "larger". This, I think, detracts somewhat from their otherwise obvious high quality. Is this deliberate, or simply a lack of sharpening after scanning?

Thanks Mathias. I think the softness is possibly due the the method of down sizing the image for the Web. I am now using the correct method and also I have changed to 6x4.5 from 35mm. The three beach photo's are my latest and should be sharper.
