yasumasa_yanagisawa 0 Posted December 3, 2006 The lens is mounted in studio shutter, which has only "bulb" function. Usually, 1/4 sec. approx. is too long for dog and also very difficult to focus on eyes by large format, you see. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 15, 2006 The right eye looks pretty sharp to me. The left eye may be sharp as well, but it is a bit hard to tell because the light is not falling on it well. But all in all, with the shutter speed you were using, I think you did a very good job. By the way. I notice some Newton rings, a common problem when scanning large format negatives on a flatbed scanner. I can tell you how to solve that problem if you are interested in knowing. Link to comment
yasumasa_yanagisawa 0 Posted December 16, 2006 that I could have such a sensitive watcher and adviser like you. I have been following your former suggestion of "emulsion side down" way, but sometimes the film warps by the heat of scnner. This time I became aware of it barely by your point out here. I will try "glass way" some day. Thank you. Link to comment
