azenall 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Yes, ready to fly... The problem of the macros always resides in the depth of field. To close diaphragm ampl?, but also produces diffraction and, sometimes, badly a result. In this case, when working to the air, and with the danger that it throws to fly, it turns out but complicated to make a good photo. They are not left many solutions: tripod, high speed (1/200), sincronized with the flash and a diafragm average stop (enter f/8 and f/16), can produce better results as far as the depth of field. Perhaps therefore it is possible to be focused all the globe and the stem of the plant. If the camera is compact automatic, little more it is possible to be done. Great work, because it did not fly the Lion Tooth (Taraxacum officinale), and good frame. Link to comment
ioannis papadogiannis 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Gerardo in this case i wanted to focus on the globe and blur the background so i used a full open diafragm f/2.8 and high shutter speed at 1/250.I think i should have used f/4 to f/8.About my camera it is a compact, very good but still compact. Thank you very much you have been very helpfull. Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Yes, f/4 or f/8 focusing to the first plane, so that the bottom follows defocused and the globe has approach in the edges. It will be the next time. Link to comment
