I love this picture, not for the tones, for that can be achieved bby anybody. But it is the genuine expression on the woman's face as she looks at the pants of either her husband or her son. It is an expression that contains endearment, a knowing glance that says that no matter how poor she is, she can count on the love of that person inside those tattered clothing. This, for me, is what the picture is all about.
