DrewBayless 3 Posted November 29, 2006 Ha! Yes, the effect works even better in thumbnail for some reason. Beyond that 'trick', there's plenty here to tickle my visual and thinking tastebuds. Cheers. Link to comment
tlascell 0 Posted November 29, 2006 I really love the piano reflection detail and the open space created by the raised top; a perfect setting for the pianist. While the picture on the rear wall adds a bit of whimsy (and perhaps why you took the shot), I bet this image would work as well (even better?) with a young girl at the seat, and a clear white wall behind. Another way of seeing...based on the wonderful framing you set up. Link to comment
root 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Actually I took the shot as part of an assignment on window lighting and to continue experimenting with HDR. A couple years ago, I took the shot you suggest, except that I used myself as a model. (Not quite the same, though . . .) I didn't even see the possible connection between the nun and her position as a piano player until I'd done most of the postprocessing. Link to comment
