Hi John! I like the way you tilted this image, I think it makes the picture more interesting, gives it something special. I'm also just trying to shoot portraits, so I don't know much, but just a hint maybe - I think it would accentuate the photo if she wore something in a stronger color, if the scarf for example were rather darker, to enhance the contrast. Otherwise her pose is also nice, although it's surely set, it appears spontaneous.
