benradvanyi 0 Posted November 29, 2006 photographing horses can be a tricky thing. first of all a longer and faster lense would hepl greatly, and for horse movement you want to try to get about 1/1000 sec to capture the image without blur. with a rider flatting to horse a photo of them in full frame would be a great improvement. and a big pet peve that i have with horse photos is of something obstructing the horse and rider. but maybe you wanted to get a nice photo of the sky aswell, but it would be nice without the fense in the front. i hope this helps, and check out http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=610430 to see some examples of my work.
