bleedingashes 0 Posted December 19, 2006 I have seen this picture a few times and i have been fascinated by it. Life is outside the planter it seems to say to me. It is meaningful and emotive using few words. The textures and shades are very eloquent and carry the subject very well. Always wonderful stories weaved with your images I learn so much from your art, thank you. Link to comment

lesa jones 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Very intriguing image Dave. I like the lines, circles, and subtle light play on the various pots. Very neat idea! The fact that it is b/w makes it more effective. Congrats my friend...LJ Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted December 29, 2006 One of those deceivingly simply shots that endure solely on fine composition and powerful use of light and dark. A beautiful shot Dave. Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted January 27, 2007 I notice that our work is not dissimilar in subject matter. The difference is that you have talent and your work puts mine to shame. I think I'll just go jump off of the bridge now. Link to comment
dave holmes 0 Posted January 27, 2007 AAAAGGH! dont do it! Are you kiddin? Those shots of yours on those big boats just about made me eBay all my equipment. If I was any good this picture would at least be in focus. Keep shooting, your work and your comments are inspiring to all of us who look and listen. (plus if you jump that bridge that's one less of us to fend off all the heavily overrated butterfly-on-a-flower and solitary-rose-on-a-black-backdrop shooters.) Dave Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 1, 2007 Excellent image. I really like the mood it carries. Good composition, too. Link to comment
dave holmes 0 Posted February 2, 2007 thanks Matthias. you're the master of seeing shots in what the rest of us would call mundane situations, so to me this is a great compliment. Link to comment
