I think this is a great shot. The suspension arms on the bridge lead the eye in fantastically. If I had a grumble, it's because the sky is black and devoid of interest. Perhaps this photo could have been taken just within half an hour after sunset and hopefully some clouds would have been present to blur as they skidded across the sky. That said, the depth is great and the car lights set the image off nicely against one of the towers of Tower Bridge. You shouold be pleased with this photo.

btw how is 30D performing?

30D is lovely thanks... Thanks for your comments... this is the same picture saved in sRGB mode... the colours appear to be more punchy - not sure in this instance which i prefer... the two pictures of course look the same in PS - but not elsewhere...

 

yeah the contrast and the colour in sRGB mode are better imho. even tho i dont think it really matters if you play around with it in PS a bit. . its a nice photo and should indeed be only seen larger. photo.net shrinking and compression is putting this shot one level down :)
