btr1 0 Posted November 22, 2006 Nice photo. Sometimes it takes a trained eye to see beauty in the desert, especially with these strange-looking trees that many people think are ugly. I actually live not too far from here... Are you around here somewhere too? Link to comment
Brian Carter 0 Posted November 22, 2006 You move to the right a foot or so. Move the axis to the left less than that. Stand on something. Keep sky above the foreground uppermost branch. Crop out the left edge tree. You want separation of elements. Nice shot. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas Esquire 143 Posted November 22, 2006 ...but I won't. Just a black stroke instead of that strange colored thing on the edges! Very, very nice indeed! PDE Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted November 22, 2006 Scott, all in all, this is a nice shot. I think the prior comments pretty much nailed the useful suggestions. I can sympathize my friend, I have shot in Joshua Tree NP several times over the past year, and its a challenge. I really enjoy this park though, there is so much to see and photograph. Are you in Southern California? I am in the Santa Clarita Valley. Best regards, Chris Link to comment
