Gary, as soon as I saw those beautiful "lenticular altocumulus" or standing wave clouds, I knew I was home. there is just about no place better to view and photograph these wind-formed beauties. After some thirty-five years working as a meteorlological technician, I can say with all honesty that they are my favorite -- and at sunset you get a double whammy. Nice picture. Pretty fancy framing too, although I don't think such time-taking work does all that much to improve on an already beautiful sky. Sort of like gilding the lily.

Beautiful clouds Gary, and a sunset too. Haven't seen clouds like this in the UK, nice frame but it looks slightly distracting, maybe something plane to set off that red sky. But hec nice shot.

Nice shot. The diagonal of the tree tops and the bottom of the clouds is a good touch.
