Bora, thanks for it. I had known it before.

If I cropped a little bit more shifting to the right to remove the small triangle, her hand would be too short. And shifting to the right made it unbalnced in terms of frame. That is why I left it.

This photo has it all, and more! The framing, composition and shadows combine with a sensuously beautiful lady PLUS highlight just enough of her face & hand with the perfect degree of sharpness to seemingly enhance her violin. The lighting is perfect (especially on the violin strings) and lends to the mood that brings this picture together into an absolute masterpiece of photographic workmanship! This is what Photo.net is all about, not to mention what I assume we all aspire to being able to produce ourselves; you can bet we will be looking for more of your submissions and input! Thank You, and congratulations on posting the quality of picture that absolutely deserves a magazine cover or philharmonic poster (Both)! FANTASTIC PICTURE!

The contrast between the black outfits ( hat & hairs ) and the face & fingers, the position of the face and the square framing/cropping, all make this photograph eye catching and stunningly beautiful !.

This is a very, very good photo as others have said. Regarding that little triangle of green in the top right and your delima of cropping to remove it, I would just clone out the green with black. Though I know some people don't like manipulation.

One of the best portrait photos I have ever seen - everything about it is perfect. Any fine art photo gallery should be proud to hang it.

Best wishes, Jonathan
