I have purposefully left this photo fairly dark to draw attention to

the feathers on the bird's back which, on my monitor, are properly

exposed.

 

Comments and critique are always welcome and appreciated.

I like the pose but tend to disagree on the spot-on exposure. IMHO the egrets back is almost 1 stop under. Happy New Year!

I never said it was spot on, but thought it was 'good enough'.

 

i felt like this photo lost too much 'feel' by brightening itand the attention was no longer on the feathers. My monitor seems to be a bit brighter it may seem than other peopel's monitors though./
