ioannis papadogiannis 0 Posted November 25, 2006 Not so completely center but yes you can say that is very close.Gerardo do you think that we must always follow the rules of thirds? because sometimes i feel better not to.This photo is one this times.I tried with the tree more to the right but this was my final decision.I am not sure why, maybe because the tree is the dominant element in the picture. azenall 0 Posted November 25, 2006 One is not to follow the rule of the thirds, because at heart it is a very simplicista rule, but to look for a composition way that is attractive to the eye that sees it. In the studies on the psychology of the image from times of the Bauhaus, the interaction of the elements in the visual plane comments., of the places of its positioning to obtain a visually expressive phrase. To this I talk about when saying trim very, to that sometimes we must experiment with several possibilities of frame before deciding us by a certain one. One is not to accept or to break rules, but to look for a coherent visual language with which we wish to express. It is not easy task: what me says it to me! Link to comment
