Nice flower with good colors. But i think you put the focus on the flower instead of the bee.

I agree with Ellen, this is a very nice shot but you either need to focus on the bee or increase your depth of field to encompass a larger area to include both the bee and the flower center.

Thanks for your input, I agree with your points about the lack of DoF and misplaced focus. I would have increased it given the chance however the speed the bee was moving and I didn't want to miss getting the vital shot, I shot quickly with whatever apeture was set previously (f7.1)- given the time I would have stopped down more.
