you had been up much earlier than me :-)) so you got the more impressive light! For my self-justification I can say that I already drove some hundred miles from Sweden, and when I arrived at Hamburg the early morning had already passed. "The early bird gets the worm" we say, and so you picked an unique mood ..!

Excellent composition, very good exposure and light,Cherlyn. Mechanical contraption looks like futuristic creatures that will roam on earth.

Beautiful contrast of sharp silhouettes and champagne gold sky. And I really envy you living in a safari park(or JURASSIC PARK?).

that's a fantastic view you have in the morning! (I guess you don't need an alarm clock though) It tilts a tiny bit to the left but otherwise superb !

Yes Andrea. It tilts slightly but I am lazy to correct it :(

Yes Shuki, it can be slightly noisy. Not only do i hear the thump thump thump of the containers loading, I also hear the ships' arrival / departure hoot hoot sound(that's why I don't need alarm clock) & very dusty with all the soots, but no blockage of views.

Industrial site can also look good on picture. I like the sky color and the formation of the "giraffes".

So, these are cranes in a port for loading/unloading of ships? Who would have known that you could get such an interesting and appealing shot of cranes? I love the morning light and the position of these cranes. Your title for this was perfect. Nicely done!

A very interesting image, Cheryln. . . I like the juxtaposition of the hard industrial metal against the soft glow of the orange/yellow gradient in the background. . kudos for a great shot and a creative title.

a lot of miracles in this world-

I like your industrial beauty! and I also like to see your current three pics ('Day Abreaking' and 'Ms Dragonfly') side by side, they go well together. ;-)
