This is an extremely popular pose lately. I don't think that there is a portrait photographer who hasn't done this shot...( except me). This one needs a little wider depth of field as one of the babie's feet is completely out of the focus range. Using this depth of field is tricky, and usually you'll have to play around a bit before you get it right.

Great work. Although popular, one of the most very well done!

I agree that baby feet in hands is popular lately. I, myself, am guilty of producing one. This particular image is unique though, in that the lighting gives the hands a sense of distortion that I personally like. I do also agree though that if the back foot would have been as sharp as the front foot it would have been that much more powerful. But I also know that that baby's foot was in motion and trying to accomplish that is very difficult. :-) Fabulous effort and very eye catching image.

Not original at all, but the execution of the idea is very good here. The use of light and shadow is nice. I really like the contrast and tonality... A good one...
