Hi Michelle! Welcome on Photo.net. I see two 4/4 in the ratings for this photo that could discourage you, even though it is an excellent photo, very well composed and exposed and which merrits 6 for aesthetic in my opinion. I give you 5 for originality but I don't know exactly what is originality in landscape photo. Anyway, I rarely give less than 5, in reaction against the anonymous low raters which have'nt the courage of their opinions.

Hello fellow RMNP'er. I like the fog, and especially the color. I feel like a different perspective could help:

telephoto - get farther back and higher so you're looking more straight-on with the curving gully

wide angle - use some interesting part of the foreground to "bring me in" to your picture
