Machu Pichu

Always a classic, beautiful view. When were you there? Grass looks lush! (this scene was pretty dry and brown when I was there, sept time). The lighting is fairly harsh but you've done well to keep detail in the shadows.

Thank you for looking at my portfolio and for your kind comments. I went there at June which is during the beginning of the Peruvian winter. Despite that, Machu Pichu is located on a semi-tropical area of Peru near La Selva (Amazon rainforest). For that reason I think that the green lush grass that I captured in this picture should be attributed more to the attentive effort of the people responsible for watering the grass in this cultural monument than the season.
