I liked it in portrait format because I could see more sky and

water. But do you think it would be better in landscape?

I often take photos in portrait format for similar reasons and I don't see why there would be any problem in that way. I often try both landscape and portrait format for the same shot. You choose the one you prefere after. This one is great like that because the waves on the water are not only estetic, they produce the feeling for me so they are realy important. the sky is great to see too. Regards.

I think the shot has more visual weight in landscape. The sky and water are nice elements but all the colour and detail is in the middle. Nice shot.
