awhitt99 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I love this image. There are so many great things about it. The asymmetrical balance between the dog and the tree are really good. The lighting is really nice, bonus for the backlit rim on the dogs ears and tail. the contrast and overall tone is a little dark, but works great for this image. Very nice! Link to comment
denis grzetic 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Thank you,Cristopher...I know he have that "puppy" look but he is in fact 4 year old dog...You can easy see on some of my old shots in the gallery that he doesnt change at all (his name is Obi-Wan Kenoby...maybe because of that) Link to comment
jackson loi 0 Posted November 5, 2006 This photo has a very nice tone. I like the backlight on the dog; the details of the dog (shadow) and of the clouds (highlight) are nicely retained. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 7, 2006 Ah, your dog again. This one is particularly nice. Seeing the images with your dog in them, I wish I had a dog I could take pictures of. Unfortunately, I can't have one since I'm allergic to dog hair. Anyway, exellent b&w photograph with a beautiful tonal range. Link to comment
dankapsner 0 Posted November 12, 2006 This is an exquisite representation of "dogness," but it is more than that. It captures the elusive quality of a moment in time, of experience that vanishes so quickly it can barely be acknowledged. What you do here is what photography does better than anything else, and you have done it exceedingly well. Link to comment

maria_di_liegro 0 Posted September 14, 2008 What a special photo of this dog. I like the light that falls on him and his expression, plus the way you have him set in the composition, with the single tree in the back. The best part, however, if your focus in/around the dog. Love it! Regards, Maria Link to comment
