friedel_rother 0 Posted March 23, 2002 Great optical illusion -- took me a few moments to realise which way was up. I also like the way the rock climber provides a splash of colour. Link to comment
lucas_griego 0 Posted March 25, 2002 finger jammin' laybackin' foot smearin' !@#!@#!@!!!! nice one. Are you tied off above him on the same route or do you have yourself out and away from the rock with a human tripod of sorts? Wish we saw more climbing photos here at Photo.net. Link to comment
joe a. 0 Posted March 28, 2002 i'm hanging on a rope fixed to the same route's anchors. the wall on the left enabled me to get out away from the crack. it was still pretty gymnastic. jam hand in crack, push with left foot, try and hold camera still, don't drop remaining coiled rope on Micah, etc... thanks for the comments all! m._ort 0 Posted June 1, 2002 Great vantage point! Wonderful colors. Having the horizontal perspective of the ground below creates an excellent contrast to the vertical wall. Kind regards, m. Link to comment
ian_greant 0 Posted July 30, 2002 Hey Joe, Nice bit of work. I really like the perspective. It's too bad you didn't use a reflector or some fill flash so we could see the climbers expression though... (yes, I'm pulling your leg) I just shot my first climbing photos in about two months and remembered "climbing photos are *hard*!"Climb on! Link to comment
joe_adnan 0 Posted August 28, 2002 Excellent shot. The scabs on the elbows show how desperate the whole endeavour is. Am really impressed with the composition, seeing as how you managed to keep your feet out of the 20mm's angle of view. Link to comment
