Very nice one Michael. Tonally rich. Made great use of midday light. Which brings up an interesting thought. Looks like the sun was low but not very low here. I have found that the magic hours work really well when shooting in color. No revelation there but I think that monochrome work opens up other times of day. In any case this is evidence that the sun does not have to be setting/rising to make a great shot.

Very well thought out and excuted in this foto, the aspen leaves almost look white , and there is enough contrast between the different tree there to give seperation:
