mike_perkins1 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Stuning photo, I love everything about it. The way all the elements are combined pulls you through the photo ( the straight dock leading to the slightly curved smooth ice leading to horizon )Very very nice Link to comment
Fishermang 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Nice, very nice! Good elements that lead into the photo, there are twisted lines of ice that are pleading to the eye and improve the composition alot! The sky is beautiful as well. I am not sure about the tree barks in the upper corner (left), they could seem a little distracting at times - would be interesting to see the photo with them cloned out and compare. Link to comment
darius.tulbure 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I think you should remove those branches... Very very good photo although. Link to comment
ionaorbinski 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Thanks for all your comments. Yes, I was thinking about those tree branches. It was annoying that they were there and I couldn't get my angle so that they wouldn't be in the picture. I'll try and remove them... but I'm not that great with PS. Thanks! Link to comment
biswajit 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Lovely colours and details, such beautiful contrast, nicely composed. Regards Link to comment
richard van hoesel 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Lovely image with gentle tones and lines, my favourite in this folder. I find the logo you use is quite intrusive though, and makes it hard in this case for example, for me to determine how much the branches bother me. Maybe make it smaller or more transparent? ionaorbinski 0 Posted December 17, 2006 Thanks for the tip. I'll see if I can make it a bit smaller. I was going with signature at first, (see my earlier pictures) but I felt like creating a logo. Perhaps it's too big and round. Or perhaps I have to make the frame a bit bigger, so it won't interfere with the picture. Thanks for the tip! Link to comment
