vuk_vuksanovic 0 Posted April 20, 2001 David. I kept wanting to write something in a similar vein, yet wasn't quite sure how to go about it tactfully. You've now saved me the effort and I agree wholeheartedly with what you've written. Link to comment

anton_galli 0 Posted April 21, 2001 Not to question this guy's methods but . . . something about this composition bugs me. I don't like the weightiness of the rocks on the left with nothing on the right. They seem to dominate and unbalance the picture. It might not be so bad if they were not bisected by the edge of the frame. Did the leaves have to be in the center? Maybe they would have offset the rocks? It just seems too arbitrary. The colors are nice, etc. and the exposure is good, not certain that I like the shiny-ness of the rocks though. Sorry if I sound like Andy Rooney. Link to comment
khacg 0 Posted April 22, 2001 Okay, you've got some rocks, some grass and dirty leaves, and.... sorry I just don't see it. Link to comment
david_g 0 Posted May 3, 2001 HOW MANY OF US HAVE EVEN ONE PHOTO THAT IS AS GOOD AS MOST OF THE PHOTOS IN THIS PORTFOLIO. THIS MAY BE THE BEST OVERALL PORTFOLIO I HAVE EVER SEEN ON PHOTONET. IF ANYONE CAN POINT OUT ANOTHER THAT IS AS GOOD, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THIS GUY IS GOOD. PERIOD. Link to comment
solomon_hoasjoe1 0 Posted September 6, 2001 Of all the photos I've seen, this one does have a nicely balanced composition. The leaves did catch my attention first. However, I'm not sure if there is enough of a focus on any particular subject element here: the rocks, grass or leaves. Of course, red, yellow and other colored leaves is an indication of the Fall season but in this picture there didn't seem to be enough leaves for the 'Fall' effect. Link to comment
