single photos Coconut in Mourning

Nice shot. Colors are great in the distant shore

but are less saturated in the foreground. How

does the CCD behaves? Maybe underexposing it a

bit?

Almost perfect, but the weather is way too good / sun is too high ;-)

I like this shot, but agree with the previous comments. Additionally, I would like it even more if the three elements (coconut, sea, mountains and sky) were arrainged differently. The cocnut obscures the cliffs- maybe this is what you intended.

Thanks for the comments- unfortunately the time of day couldn't be helped as I was just passing through. This shot and the other one in this series, A Walk on a Perfect Beach, were both taken in Kauai on the North-West shore (near Barking Sands). Thanks for all the comments!
