marcelo_salup 0 Posted March 24, 2002 Would have been interesting, but there is no focus on the photograph itself; no central point that draws one's eye. Link to comment
mellimage 0 Posted March 25, 2002 Not quite sure yet if I think it is interesting or bad. The background for me is still too distracting and I wish there was more focus on the girls. On the other hand exactly this is what makes this picture interesting. Maybe the background should have been more blurry than it already is, to increase the contrast between the girls and the people some more. Link to comment
timothy_swan 0 Posted March 25, 2002 Well, I guess you can't please everyone, as evidenced by the "no central focus" comment by Marcello and the "creative framing" comment by Mack. I'm biased, but I disagree pretty strongly with Marcelo -- the composition of the photograph includes the out-of-focus background image. Just because the center isn't in the center doesn't mean that one isn't there. Link to comment
bill_pope1 0 Posted March 25, 2002 what impresses me most about this photo, is the distinction between the girls in the foreground and the adults in the background - nice way to make use of depth of field Link to comment
