lawrence_palumbo 0 Posted March 24, 2002 The shadow is too harsh on the top of the photograph. It becomes distracting to my eye. Link to comment
erol_ata___nyc__nj 0 Posted March 24, 2002 The whole purpose of the shot was for the shadow. The way it draped over the cats head to all most protect it from the rays while the rest of the body took in what ever vitamin D it could get. Thanks for your comment. Link to comment
teffy 0 Posted March 24, 2002 I really like this photo. The cat is gorgeous, her expression is quite soothing, the diagonal path of the shadow is nice, and I like the simplicity of the background. I know that trying to photograph a cat in the sun is tough - especially a cat with such a range of light and dark coat. Yet, this photo still retains detail in the cat's dark, shadowed face, and the light fur in the bright light is not "blown out." Good job. You are lucky to have such a beautiful model :-) Just a side note: I would suggest that you resize the image before posting. The 'small' version is, by design, just thumbnail size and is therefore too small to really examine the image. I think the 'large' version is the same size as whatever you upload, and the medium is some fraction of that. On my 19" monitor, the 'medium' and 'large' versions of your image are too big for the screen. If the maximum dimension of what you upoad is about 1000 pixels, it helps us to view it. Link to comment
