alight 0 Posted October 31, 2006 I wish people would leave comments as to what they like and don't and why, not just leave point rating. We, as photographers, don't learn anything from points. This is an interesting photo, in a way unique. I like it, but...there is something missing. I couldn't put my finger on it at first, but this is what I came up with: I would like to see more of the tressel sharp, in focus, and more of the background blurred, so it would be more as a swirl of colours. That's probably impossible to do under the given conditions. I could live with the tressel gradually being blurred, but then to a bigger degree, culminating in the completely blurred background. Like using a bigger telephoto lens. Somehow this lukewarm blurring is not as pleasing to my eyes. I would give this photo 4.5 points out of seven. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
