Maybe some day I'll visit Monument Valley. The picture is beautifully exposed and the light is very warm. It's so difficult to get an original shot these days of such an area that has been photographed to death. This is a lovely shot nontheless.

I would agree that it's difficult to get a totally "original" image of this area nowadays. Nonetheless, I would say that this still has a fresh look to it. For me, part of that stems from your use of the rock wall on the left to go up the entire height of the photo. That contrast between the soft colors and tones of the sky and the solid and deeply-colored rock formations always plays well, too.

Douglas, An excellent composition. This shot alone would have made the trip worth while for me. A little on the red side but that's a subjective evaluation. Looks great either way. Best, LM.

This looks polarized and while the rich color and natural beauty of the scene in and of themselves are somewhat compelling, this is really just a "documentary" photograph that anyone could produce.

A pretty picture of a pretty place but that's it.
