Any comments/suggestions?

OK, the focus is soft (which means you need to sharpen it some more). Animals' fur and birds' feathers are tough to get true focus. Not as easy as pointing the AF and pushing the shutter button. I would also recommend more room above the pup and less room below her. And watch that glare on the left. It needs to be softened too. But with mods this is going to be a great image!

 

What camera/lens do you use?

This one was actually taken with an Olympus (can't remember the exact model) point and shoot digital camera a few years ago. I just always liked this one. Thank you for pointing out the things that aren't so obvious. That helps a lot!
