Lana, I'd like to say that I did it to capture a feel of destination or something like that, but it was after a long climb up a large hill on a hot day, heh. Next time I am back in that area I'll definately try out some alternatives as suggested.

I like this photo as it is, what was your aperture setting? The tightest setting would be ideal to get the greatest DOF though I am sure you know that. Personally I like it on the near focus, Toby

Cheers Toby mate, I can't remember the ap setting and it was before the days I shot in raw so the file is telling me nothing either, but thanks for the advice and I'm glad you like it as is.
