Hi Tammy - I just upgraded from my previous cheap lighting set that I purchased off of ebay to one AB400 and am loving it. Alienbees are not by any means top of the line but they are tenfold improvement over what I was using. I purchase the 400 since I mainly only shoot one child at a time. I also bought their large octabox which diffuses the light perfectly over the children but at the same time creating the large catchlights that I prefer. Their website is www.alienbees.com. I know that Jayme Hall also uses them and has always recommended them to people. I hope to buy another one in the future after I get use to the one I have.

This is really wonderful. I love the way she is looking back & down. This, in combination of her hand/arm positioning, is very eye pleasing :) Nice separation from the background too. The central positioning works well here. A really quality image :)
