I like the mood with the shoreline and sky treatment but feel that the stick in the F/G detracts. Do you want to focus attention on the stick or the far shore and sky? Outside of this I like this treatment. Don

but I found the F/G will be too empty, so I treat

this stick as a guiding line to the far hill and sky...

but again...it can be the main subject as well...

I see what you are saying. I was looking at the F/G as an independent object.
