jannabin 0 Posted April 19, 2007 Is this a wild rabbit? They are usually very shy. I love rabbits :) Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted April 19, 2007 Hey Janna, I am 99% sure this rabbit (along with a bunch of others I seen that day) was a domestic one that was no longer wanted as a pet and just let go in the park. Someone gave it some stuff to eat and I just walked up and took the shot - this lil' guy was probably hungry because the other ones took off as soon as I got close. Link to comment
jannabin 0 Posted April 22, 2007 Poor thing!!! People can be horrible, kicking an innocent animal with no skills to survive out. Here there are shelters for these kind of creators (I mean the animals, not the owners), where people try to find them a good home. Two of them live in my home now. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted April 22, 2007 Hey Janna, we got the SPCA here and also various animal shelters for injured and some unwanted exotic animals, but I don't know if they're free - maybe there's a fee so these people just don't bother and just dump them. Link to comment
