I think I know what you were trying to accomplish here, Michael; and if I may, let me offer my thoughts. What about stepping back 6-7 feet, and maybe 2-3 feet to the right and then shut the aperture down and see if you can obtain the necessary depth-of-field to capture the mesquite and Red Mtn in focus. It really would be a great composition. If possible, go back and try this out. Let me know. Best regards, Chris
