aral 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Actually, a friend of mine took this shot, because it's me on the photo (the guy on the left side). THX for critiques & comments Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 28, 2009 Although your friend took the photo, it does show us that you truly love the mountains....and this 'mountain goat' does not have a welcoming expression. My brohter lives in Canmore Alberta, just outside of Banff. I've been there a few times, and I know these very photgenic creatures can be quite 'nasty' at times. Your mountain shots are wonderful. Their majesty is breathtaking, and whre I live it is very flat. I've always wondered why I come back to Ontario...when it is so beautiful in the mountains of the Canmore/Alberta area. But it is very expensive to live there....and their summers are very short. But I have not been back since 1989...and your photos make me want to visit all the more..Cheers, you have a great portfolio.....We used to have a Limited Edition Art Gallery out of our home, and one of my favorite artists was Daniel Smith.....his mountain and wildlife shots, and art were fantiastic.....but unfortuanately, he fell off a mountain a few years back while taking a photo.....and he was quite young....so, do be careful.......'its a long way down'................. :- }..........Gail Link to comment
