Oh, cet "Air" innocent,

et cet "Amour" charnel pour la vie,

et ces "Yeux" pleins d`espoir enfantin,

et ce Murmure sur les "Levres" vermillons ...

Quel Portrait "Poetique" ma chere Cristina :)

J`adore!!!!!!

Bisous,

Biliana

This is excellent again..... You're on a 'high' dear... The last pictures are amazing and yet so different than your other work! Great, you don't escape from the experiment as well!!! Keep on going.. :-)

Is this a reflection of your "checkered past"?? :-0 (Do you know this expression? It may be an American or English expression that you are not aware of. It means that there is something in your past that you might not want everyone to know about. It is often used when politician's past troubles are exposed.)The picture: the lighting of the subject, the expression on your face are excellent. It makes me wonder what you are looking at.

Then I look over your right shoulder to see the checkerboard. The perspective of the checkers make it look like the board is propped up behind you, not lying flat. So this establishes a connection between the board and you. You are the game piece. Is the game checkers or chess? If chess, are you a pawn or a queen?

There is a lot going on here on an unconscious level. And what ARE you looking at?

I wonder if it is a sin or against all rules of art Christina to love a picture/painting/drawing or whatever piece of art, just because of the first impression you gets of it? I just love this picture because of the colours, the patterns, the expression of your face. I simply love this picture without the feel to need to know what it depicts. Is that strange or silly? Is it insulting with respect to the artist? Insulting with respect to you in this case?

I'm interested to hear your opinion, dear Christina. Many greetings, Ada:-)

Biliana : I adore to hear you say "J'adore !" :) By the way, your command of French is excellent ;)

Thank you so much for your thoughts ! Innocence can be played at different levels, it's not only a question of the body... I'm glad you mentioned "cet air innocent"... And "cet Amour charnel pour la vie", which can exist even without the encounter of the bodies...

Babis, thank you very much for your comment, I appreciate it :)

Bianca, I'm always happy to read your comments :) Yes, these pictures are different because I'm different ;) Thank you !!

To Pulok and Jorge : Thank you so much ! I'm glad you like it :), your comments are very encouraging.

Jim : I didn't think of this expression because this is the first time I hear it :) Thank you very much for your comment. Actually I'm not looking at anything... It's in my mind that the real thing is going on :) It's the expression I have when daydreaming :) ... The game metaphor (chess) stands for a specific situation. I don't know what is my role in this game. I'm still trying to see if I'm the player or piece and player at the same time...

This game is not about winning, but about playing... Because winning would be the end of it... I haven't lost the game yet, but I can feel the checkmate is close, somebody made a very clever move, escape is no longer possible, my defenses are very weak... It's not losing, it's the end of the game that I'm afraid of...

Ada, thank you for your thoughts. Can we blame love at first sight ? :) I think that to like something without needing further info is a very particular form of understanding ; our perception doesn't follow the code anymore, we don't see the mediation anymore, this is when intuition and empathy strike high... :) So it's not insulting to me :) It's flattering in fact ! ;) thank you !

Cristina

beautiful light in the eyes... optimistic.. in spite of the dramaticity of the background. The checkboard color in the background represents the "reason", mathematic and down tot he earth, while the crazy hair is the desire... free to go where he likes...

All with the small red lips, posed as for a kiss... red of passion

:D
