that was a really sad day here, im from nacogdoches texas, where most of the peices fell.... one of the peices i found was part of a door....i hope i never have to hear jet fighters in this town again

When I saw the streak on the thumbnail, I knew what you had captured. It was a sad day, indeed. I was in Wichita Falls in 1986 when someone yelled down the hall, "The shuttle [Challenger] just exploded!" For those of us too young to remember Pearl, those two days plus 9-11 pretty much define tragedy.

 

It looks like you were far enough west to get it before it came apart. Since I know that you knew what you were seeing, it must have been a devastating experience. I won't even speculate about what it was like for the crew, or if they were still alive at this moment.
