I saw the light, grabbed the bride, put her in a quick pose in front

of it, bounced my on-camera flash off the wall, and this was the

result. Only problem is her arm. Two questions:

 

How could I have posed her to hide it.

 

Given that there is no room to crop it out, any suggestions as to how

to deal with it ex-facto?

I agree with Peter. Photoshop, using liquify. Use layers to mask out relevant areas, and of course some cloning will be required ;)

I like the shawl idea best. The less PS I have to do the better. I'll make it a standard part of my wedding kit.

Here's a quick 5 min. touch up. Slimmed arm and cloned light out. Is that what you had in mind?

Nice capture ...worth the 5 mins.

I like how the light was removed, but don't understand what was wrong with the arms. I think this is a wonderful photo of a full-figured bride. Reminds me of those new Dove soap commercials.
