This is an excellent composition. Leading cracks, perfect position of the tree, position of the grass in the right hand bottom corner. Backlit tree with the warm sunlight colors is what adds to the drama. Great photo. It seems the color temperature is raised little more, but even if it has I think it is justified for the composition you have grabbed.

Nice work on the exposure control John. I like the soft hues and the way you have retained the mist in the valley. no nitpicks here!

Fantastic work John. You have the colour schemes well worked out in all your images. They're not overdone and show a distinct individual touch. Well done. The effect of the sky behind the wind battered tree here is very profound.

Stunning shot: Great composition and exposure. The harsh lansdcape and the serene sky make an interesting contrast.

Uhm...this is perfect composition and rocks in foreground leeds eye to the tree... Excellent postprocessing! Bravo!

Very stunning place captured at the right time on the right way! Excellent job, Patrick, great compo, DOF, light...personaly I would have maybe tried to rotate the image CCW to make the stone limit horizontally, but the the tree would have appeared a little bit strange probably!
