This is one of the most dynamic photos I have ever enjoyed. And little fearless dogs vs. huge animals is a favorite theme of mine.

I apologize if this question is crass, but I would like to know if this is a live action shot. It does not take away from the composition and would in fact be a testament to your creativity and ability. But I'd love to know if those little dogs are really in there playing chicken with a horse. (I have a little dog that has no problem going after German Shepherds).

So wonderful powerful Horse.

But I wish I can see more of his body and muscles, I think IMHO that you have to readjust the WB, it is too dark, and you have lost some details of his superb and admirable body!

Thank YOU,

Despite the composition is superb, at least in my monitor i see the black cliped out in the horse body. I must to say that i?m in a very bad monitor now at the office.

Stunning is the right word! Absolutely beautiful! I usually try to give some kind of constructive critique and not just say "oooo Pretty Picture" but this leaves me speechless, except to say... Stunning!!!

WOW. Equestrian photography is a budding passion of mine, and it is photos such as this that inspire me to keep learning and trying. Fresians are such a glorious, perfect subject, and you captured his majesty perfectly. You captured the knee action, arched neck and baroque profile impeccably. Wonderful photograph! Thank you for sharing!

I keep reading Kate's critique to learn equestarian photography which is my passion too. And her description of knee and neck positions are enlightening! I love this image! Warm regards.
