Hi Jean,

I am usually not too much into ---shop images, but this one is excellent! It supports fully the moonlight mood.

Not sure on this. It seems a bit dark but I like night images and turn the lights when viewing, it helps. The moon is a bit egg shaped, was this a fairly long exposure? I do like the rolling terrain and the fence cutting from left to right. Overall very nice composure. I am assuming that you added the sky to the terrain. Ive tried this and get that same fuzzy look that you have around the tops of the hedges. It seems to pull this off smoothly requires that you replace the sky with one that is a very similar color especially when there is a lot of twigs sticking up. No matter how well you do the selection for your cut those twigs retain some of the original color. If I am wrong on the color difference thing let me know. But interesting!

Bill, the moon shape is real, it was not full moon and that is why it is not fully round, About the effcet on the trees I did not change the sky in fact the effect is due to the solarisaion filter, and I agree that in most of the cases it will not give the expected effect, but here I used it because it gives the realistic impression of the trees backlighted by the moon. Finally the moon was taken in an empty sky (only few clouds- some visible on the right side) the rest of the picture been fully black, i have just added the two pictures. jean

Well it's dificult to state an opinion, mainly because it is not appealing to my taste, which makes my judgment unffair.

The shape of the moon, eventhou it's real, it is a bit distracting, and I wonder if the fence could offer a more intresting compositon. Maybe starting off closer to the left hand side and underlining a more subtile curve.

Hope it made any sense, (bad english and all).

Salutations from Barcelona

I like the composition of the fence, the curved line takes me in, and the solorization effect is great around the trees, theres a very sureal mood here. Nice shot.

I really like this image. The bushes appear to be lit up from the moon which makes it look real. But something didn't look/feel quite right. Its the shadows from the posts and grass that show the real light is coming from the left side. Still, I like the colors, grain and composition.
